Force Cores can only be used on items which have a slot, and provide additional enhancements to the item, such as increasing Critical Damage or Alz drop rate.
Usage
If you've never used a Force Core before, you are best to practice with an Force Core (Low).
- Un-equip the slotted item you are upgrading
- Visit a Core Alchemist
- Choose Force Core upgrade
- Place the item you are upgrading in the left item box
- Place a Force Core (Low) into one of the middle 3 boxes
- Click the button
- The game will roll through the available upgrades and select one randomly
- If successful, the item will now have an icon in its slot and have additional attributes.
Core grades
There are 4 grades of Force Cores:
- Force Core (Low): (FCL) Enhances any equipment lower than Bluestin. This includes Plain, Reinforced, Silk, Training, Iron, Damascus, Shadowsteel, Crude, Red, Coraleye, and Citrine items.
- Force Core (Medium): (FCM) Enhances any equipment lower than ShadowTitanium. This includes Aramid, Bluestin, Titanium, Shadowsteel, Citrine and Pherystin items.
- Force Core (High): (FCH) Enhances any equipment lower than Mithril. This includes Shadowtitanium, Osmium, Red Osmium, Aqua, Lapis, and Topaz items.
- Force Core (Highest): (FCHest) The only core that can be used to enhance Mithril grade equipment.
Advanced enhancements
There are some more rules for using Force Cores, which will be confusing for new players.
- Force Cores must be used at a Core Alchemist
- The Core grade must be appropriate for the item being enhanced (FCL will not work with Titanium for example).
- You can see the chance of success before beginning.
- There are two types of enhancements, level 1 enhancements and level 2 enhancements.
- Level 1 enhancements require 1 Force Core.
- A catalyst may be used to select a desired Level 1 enhancement.
- The catalyst must be slotted
- The catalyst must be one level below the item being enhanced (When enhancing Titanium, at least a Bluestin catalyst is required) or higher.
- Level 2 enhancements require 2 Force Cores and you dont need catalyst.
- Even if 2 Force Cores are used, a Level 1 enhancement may still be produced
- Level 2 enhancements are always random
- Level 1 enhancements require 1 Force Core.
- You can add an Upgrade Core to the 3rd Core slot. This will increase the chances of success.
- If the upgrade fails, the cores and catalyst are destroyed. The item being enhanced is unaffected
Options for using Force Cores
Here are the outcomes for the different combinations of cores catalysts you can use. The Left box must always have the item you are upgrading.

Level 1 enhancements
Below is a list of the level 1 force core attributes. Use at least 1 Force core. You can optionally use a catalyst (slotted item) to force the desired outcome. If no catalyst is used, a random attribute will be selected.
Level 2 enhancements
The table below lists the level 2 force core enhancements. Use at least 2 Force cores. Optionally, you can use a catalyst to choose a Level 1 enhancement should you not get a level 2.
